EMT Basics are the front-line of EMS. These individuals are trained to work as professionals on ambulances, fire trucks, and in emergency rooms, doctors offices and more. COVID has helped these well-trained technicians become a more valuable resource in more environments than ever before. Upon completion, the EMT Basic will be able to administer oxygen, aspirin, and oral glucose, provide basic medical care, and utilize basic airways.
